DECODING THE WALKS!

For the past couple of years, I have had the privilege to reside in one of the best apartments in the bustling and alluring city of Bangalore. Walking is one of the ways I engage in the belle of the trees and have my confidential conversations with nature. There is a significant difference between a morning walk and an evening walk.

A cold dawn walk is to observe people and a dusk walk is to self introspect.

A walk at dawn is supposed to be brisk or even a slight jog. When the cold air enters your system, you feel alive and ready to do things that will take your day, as well as your life forward.

An evening walk or a ‘dusk’ walk, as I like to call it, is more of a slow-motion self-introspection one. This is where your observation power plays a vital role.

Shall you have the sudden impulse to ameliorate your life at the crack of dawn, decide to commence your day with a brisk walk. That first hit of cold air will clear your mind right out. This helps in building your step one to a perfect morning routine that all self-help writers talk about.

An evening walk can help you to get rid of the stress you go through the whole day. Many people avoid exercising and this is the positive escape from that. It rejuvenates all your senses and makes stress and tiredness vanish. Kids playing, aunty’s chit-chatting and the senior citizen unless laughing for no reason with their hand up in the air, is your typical scene at 6 PM. Watching them is fun, but you can really take a peek inside and keep track of your day. You will understand what you have achieved for the day and how much more diligence you have to show before bedtime.

How do you guys like to take your walks, or you’d rather shred your muscles on the lat pulldown?! 🏋🏻
